Carrot market steady with good supplies. Growers are seeing better supplies of Jumbo and cello size in the fields which is a plus. Demand for snack carrots continues strong and advanced ordering is still the way to go.

The Summertime consumer demand continues to be all about Melons and fruits. There has not been much interest for ICEBERG LETTUCE. The market seems to be set for another week. But problems seen in the fields may make the market react the last week of the month.
Summertime Blues continue, as demand for all leaf items are down. Plenty of supplies, but very little demand makes for a depressed market.
ROMAINE continues to show some life in the market place. The Summertime supplies are limited, but there seems to be adequate demand to keep the market in the double-digit range. Romaine Hearts continue to be moving smartly.
