BROCCOLI is very active. Limited supplies from all areas have pushed broccoli markets up. After the Thanksgiving Holiday supplies will increase helping to adjust the market. But until then it will be limited and expensive.
Moderate supplies from North Carolina. Prices are unchanged. Quality is good. Light supplies from Georgia expected to decrease as the season comes to a close. Trading is fairly slow. Prices are higher.
Carrot market steady at this time despite just fair to good supplies. Jumbo and cello are starting to show some improvement though not expected to last as the product is booking up fast for the holiday pulls. Demand continues strong on baby and processed products as well… though no change in markets here is expected. Processed baby and snack packs are struggling to keep up with the demand. As such shippers are not taking on any new business and are prorating regular orders…. this is expected to last through Thanksgiving.
Cauliflower is extremely tight. Salinas and Santa Maria have had very little and Yuma is just getting started, quality and condition have been good. The market looks to be very high through next week.
The market is steady. Thanksgiving rush now behind us plenty of deals on celery to be made. Excellent quality.

All leaf colors are currently being harvested out of the Desert. While the Green Leaf supplies will remain limited until the first of the month, supplies are now available but still expensive. The quality of Desert product is very nice, just limited.
The Desert is in full production of Iceberg lettuce. Now that crews have arrived South we will start to see better supplies. After the Holiday we will see prices start working their way down and shippers will start looking for business. Quality in the Desert has been very nice.
The Red Leaf harvest in the Desert has started and supplies seem to be increasing daily. Quality is good and supplies are currently available.
Like all the leaf items, the Romaine harvest is in full production in the Desert. The quality is improving and the supplies are starting to build. Look for price adjustments next week. Romaine Hearts will still remain limited until after the first of the month.
