The carrot market continues steady at this time. Jumbo and cello market is inching back up; call to get your order on the books. Demand for snack carrots continues strong and advance ordering is suggested. The prorations have slowed down and we should get into slightly better supplies over the next 4 weeks.
Cauliflower quality and condition has been good. Demand is just fair. Volume is not plentiful so markets are up a little. Volume should be better next week so markets should come off a little. Look for deals on 9s and 16s.
The market has calmed a bit as demand has dropped off. Some shippers are expecting light supplies into next week which can hold the market from completely tanking.

Optimum growing conditions in the desert have made for plenty of ICEBERG LETTUCE. The market is very depressed and the demand low. With the Holiday next week and a deep freeze throughout most of the country, do not look for any changes next week.
There are very good supplies of RED leaf lettuce being harvested daily. Next week will continue along the same path, with no market change.
Like all of the leafy lettuce varieties being harvested out of the desert, ROMAINE is no exception. Plenty of supplies of both the naked and the Heart packs. No market change next week.
